With its traditionally large and tall rooms, elegantly finished in a palette of pastel colours which exude an air of luxurious style and comfort, Salmon Lodge is very cosy with under-floor heating throughout, ideal for a winter vacation, with electricity and logs all inclusive. At the heart of Salmon Lodge you will find a very large sitting room / dining room with French windows opening onto a patio, ideal for sipping drinks on a warm summer evening. Tastefully decorated, using a mix of antiques and comfortable modern furniture, a log-burning stove serves as its focal point. As a luxury self-catering accommodation, Salmon Lodge includes a spacious, modern dining kitchen, fully equipped with gleaming white units housing an electric double oven, a microwave, a gas hob, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Should you need it, a tumble dryer is available in the out house. The comfortable kitchen also benefits from a large American style fridge-freezer which includes an ice making facility. Three light and airy bedrooms, each accommodating a king-sized bed easily converted to two large singles, are served by two spacious and bright contemporary bathrooms, one en-suite and the other with a bath and a separate shower. Towels and white linen are provided for the duration of your stay. For those not wanting to leave behind the conveniences of twenty-first century life, Salmon Lodge is finished with two flat screen televisions, one in the sitting room and the other in a cosy snug, a DVD player, a wireless internet connection facility and a music station to accommodate your ipod.
